We are proud to present the group of Ambassadors for the Polish Pavilion. We have invited artists, designers and creators of the Polish Pavilion to communicate the diverse landscape of Poland’s participation at Expo 2020 Dubai. We are focused on combining various experiences, competences, ways of thinking and sensitivity. Thank you for your cooperation!

Poland’s presence at Expo is an invitation to the whole world to learn about our country. The Polish Pavilion, which we had the pleasure to design, reflects values such as hospitality, respect for nature, team strength and the wisdom of us Poles, all of which allows us to achieve exceptional results. We know how to cooperate and respectfully draw upon the richness of our natural resources, going beyond immediate needs to propose insightful ideas, such as an architectural interpretation of the motto “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future”.

In order to use nature’s resources wisely, one needs to understand nature. By integrating the visitor path with the form of the pavilion, we hope, especially in light of the pandemic, to evoke an awareness in our guests, to sensitize them to perceive values of timeless importance. We want to introduce the discoveries of our compatriots, discoveries that make the world a better place.

The Polish Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai is also a mirror which will reflect the values that are important to us: creativity inspired by nature, green construction, team cooperation and the joint creation of a unique idea, as well as the complementary voice of both men and women in discussions about sustainable architecture.

Designing for Poland’s presence at the World Exhibition in Dubai is an honor, but also a considerable responsibility. The proposed, understated and democratic project gives the materials used the opportunity to resonate. We decided that this was the key – especially with such a relevant theme. The effects of the work carried out can be seen whether in the form of the branding and its application, or in the pavilion itself. However, this was only part of our work. The most important element here was the discussions and exchange of ideas between experts; coordinators, architects, contractors, advisors and creators of the exhibition concept. This process and this collaboration is what inspires and gives hope for a sustainable future.

It is a real honor for me to represent Poland in such a prestigious project as Expo 2020 Dubai. In my everyday work, I strive not only to build my own brand, but also to proudly represent my homeland. By accepting the invitation to participate in Expo Dubai 2020, I wanted to create something unique that would allow others to see Poland with my eyes and love it for all its beauty, not only natural. I would like to honor it and encourage visitors to discover Poland.

One picture is worth a 1000 words... in the case of Expo 2020 Dubai it's like looking at this picture through a magnifying glass. For those who didn’t have a chance to experience a stay in Poland, it’s a great opportunity for inspiration, and for an artist, it’s an incredibly responsible role in presenting this image as accurately as possible”.

In many aspects the motto “Creativity inspired by nature” is – by its nature – inspirational. After all, it is not only about artistic creativity, but it is also – in a broader sense – about a creative approach to the conservation of nature. Environmental problems and the climate crisis are vital issues both for people of my generation, and those younger. Poland’s participation in Expo 2020 Dubai and our emphasis on the role that the natural environment plays is, for me, a glimpse into a future in which art, science and technology can work together for the well-being of nature.

As a designer, I appreciate the opportunity to make an individual comment about Polish resources and Polish industry through a visual symbol. Cooperation with the "Łużyce" Glassworks was an opportunity for me to a dialogue and a creation of an optimal solution. Equally valuable is the fact of coexistence with creative expressions of other artists within the one project.

Participation in the Expo 2020 Dubai is a great honour and the opportunity to present the Zieta brand to a new audience. For Expo 2020 Dubai, Zieta Studio designed a silver object and three copper forms - sculptural structures made especially for the „Polish Table”. On the one hand, they reflect our company's DNA, which was developed through experiments with metal and volumetric expansion. On the other, they show the artistic and innovative aspect of working with metal.

Participation in Expo 2020 and invitation to the group of Ambassadors is, on the one hand, appreciating the efforts of our company in building a Polish brand in the world, and on the other hand, an honor of representing Poland through our products. We are proud of our participation in Expo and our advanced and luxurious yachts. For us, participation in the Expo is also a presentation of the heritage and culture of our region and Gdańsk city, as well as its maritime and shipbuilding legacy.

There are elements associated with Poland that should be emphasized. Among other things, these are the raw materials our country has, which can be used to produce ceramic masses. Clay is a great means of expression. And through the modules, I would like to highlight that there are amazing artists and creators in Poland, who choose to work with clay. And it’s thanks to them that we can be proud of our dynamically developing design and art. Zakłady Ceramiczne „BOLESŁAWIEC” Sp. z o.o. are given the opportunity to tell, through the modules, the story of how traditional hand-formed and painted ceramics present one side of Polishness.

Participating in the project representing Poland at Expo 2020 in Dubai is a great honour for me, an at the same time an excellent chance to share my very unique method of decorating ceramic dishes by stamping with the audience worldwide. As a decoration designer of Zakłady Ceramiczne Sp. z o.o. I had the opportunity to work with a team of incredible people responsible for creating a ceramic module for „The Polish Table”. It was a very inspiring experience for me.

Expo 2020 takes place in desperate times. The world is struggling with a global pandemic and a progressive climate crisis. In such a perspective, it is impossible to think about this year's exhibition solely in terms of presenting national scientific, technological or cultural achievements. This is a unique opportunity to ask questions about the role of Expo in developing international repair and caring strategies and to critically reflect on the current role of us, humans, in the global ecosystem.

Participation in the project, as well as being the Ambassador of the Polish zone during Expo 2020 Dubai, is an extraordinary honour for me. It is very inspiring to be able to confront yourself and your work in a project involving creators of many industries and outstanding craftsmen. I can look inside the process of creating the Pavilion, get to know the views of other artists and, of course, be part of the team that is responsible for the best story about Poland. As a creator, I can say for sure - I have a passion for creation and commitment, because I have a chance to show my technique, style and work to many people. It is a great motivator to design something extraordinary.
