The Honour Day of Poland at Expo 2020 Dubai
Poland will celebrate its Honour Day at Expo 2020 Dubai on December 7, 2021.
The full-day programme is packed with music events, workshops and performances. The highlight of the day will be a concert in Dubai Millennium Amphitheatre.
The agenda includes:
2:30 PM – Welcoming Ceremony, Poland Pavilion
4:15 PM – Official Ceremony, Al Wasl Plaza
9:00 PM – Concert “Poland. Creativity inspired by nature”, Dubai Millennium Amphitheatre
The Expo’s visitors are invited to take part in the concert “Poland. Creativity inspired by nature”. It will be an artistic story about Poland and creativity of Poles. The concert will gather 15 great artists from Poland and our special guest from the UAE - Almas.
The programme of the show includes five chapters:
I „Poland. Inspired by nature"
Tetiana Galitsyna – sand art performer
Marcin Wyrostek – accordion performer
Art Color Ballet – dance show
Dagadana – music band combining jazz, electronic and world music
II “Poland. A home for creativity”
Roksana Węgiel – singer, winner of Junior Eurovision Song Contest and MTV EMA for the best Polish artist
Janek Młynarski – musician, composer and instrumentalist, expert and promoter of Polish music from 1918–1949
III “Poland. Spirit of ingenuity”
Marcin Wyrostek – accordion virtuoso
Anna Rusowicz – singer, songwriter, a great lover of big beat and music of the 60's and 70's
Marcin Sójka – singer, songwriter
IV “Poland. Land of plenty”
Alicja Szemplińska – singer
Tre Voci – “new generation tenors”, music trio that rediscovers the beauty of classical works, giving them a contemporary sound
V “Poland. Landscapes of creativity”
Golec uOrkiestra – iconic Polish band combining traditional, ethnic sounds of Carpathians with many musical genres
Gromee – music producer, DJ, songwriter
Sara Chmiel – singer, musical actress, composer and songwriter
Almas – singer and composer from the UAE
Rania Younes and Kamil Baleja will be hosts of the concert.
The concert producers are Bolesław Pawica and Grzegorz Urban, experienced producers of music and multimedia shows.
