Expo 2020 Dubai is a unique opportunity to remind the world of this fact. Since the beginning of the World Expo, a special module of the “Polish Table”, prepared by the Conrad Shipyard, has been the showpiece of the yacht sector. New contacts will be established at a trade show concurrent with the World Expo – the Dubai International Boat Show. The Polish Investment and Trade Agency is responsible for Poland’s participation in Expo 2020 Dubai.

In November, the Poland Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai host temporary exhibition entitled “Creative by nature” organized by the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland – the central government body responsible for granting exclusive rights to inventions, utility models, industrial designs, trademarks, geographical indications and the topography of integrated circuits. The Art Director of the exhibition is a Polish designer and curator of many exhibitions, Dorota Koziara.

At Expo 2020 Dubai, Poland presents the achievements of the furniture industry and showcases its greatest successes. The export and investment potential of Polish companies is promoted as part of a comprehensive economic program prepared by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency. Poland is the second largest furniture exporter in the world, surpassed only by China.

The Independence Day celebrations at Expo 2020 Dubai were a unique opportunity to showcase the rich heritage of Polish culture. The highlight of this special day was the evening Gala Concert featuring the music of Fryderyk Chopin, Stanisław Moniuszko and Mieczysław Karłowicz. The 3rd prize winner of the 18th Chopin Competition, Martín García García, and the Warsaw National Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Andrzej Boreyka have performed on the stage of the Dubai Millennium Amphitheatre.

Poland presents the export and investment potential of the domestic IT and ICT industry at Expo 2020 Dubai.

On the stage of the Dubai Millennium Amphitheatre, guests will have the chance to see Martín García García – winner of the third prize at the 18th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition – and the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Andrzej Boreyko. The Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) has organised the Independence Day celebrations, as well as Poland’s participation in Expo 2020 Dubai. The Strategic Partner of the Poland Pavilion and the Official Patron of “Chopin at Expo 2020 Dubai” is PKN ORLEN.

According to the organisers of Expo 2020 Dubai more than 70% of the world’s population will live in cities by 2050. The challenges of governing the cities were addressed at the Dubai World Expo in the “Urban & Rural Development” theme week (from 31 October to 6 November 2021). Polish Investment and Trade Agency, which is responsible for Poland’s participation in Expo 2020 Dubai, is promoting the country’s own smart city solutions. A key event in the comprehensive economic programme was the seminar “Smart cities – solutions of the future”.

From 19 to 30 October, the Poland Pavilion will host the Polish Space Agency – its exhibition will be presented in the temporary exhibition zone alongside a number of other diplomatic, political, business, and scientific events. The Polish Space Agency will also join the International Astronautical Congress in Dubai. The Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) is responsible for the entire organisational process behind Poland’s participation in Expo 2020.

The space industry is a relatively new and rapidly developing sector of the Polish economy, and it is gaining importance every year. It is already innovative and finds technological applications in science, databases, software, communication and navigation, materials engineering, mechanics, robotics and electronics. The presentation of the potential of the Polish space industry in Dubai is part of the comprehensive Economic Programme prepared by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency for Expo 2020 – 2,500 Polish companies will benefit from it in various forms.

The fact that Polish nature is unique is proven not only by beautiful landscapes but also by numbers. The oldest tree in our country, namely the common yew from Henryków Lubański, is around 1,300 years old. Then, the largest terminal moraine, Łuk Mużakowa (Muskau Bend), is about 40 km long and it looks like a horseshoe. Polish nature is surprising and offers something amazing at almost every turn.
