From September 18 to 23, 2025, the Poland Pavilion at Expo Osaka will host the Polish Tourism and Sports Week – an event promoting active lifestyles, Poland’s tourism offer, and the modern face of Polish sport and mobility culture. The event is organized by the Polish Tourism Organisation in cooperation with the Ministry of Sport and Tourism and LOT Polish Airlines.

Movement, travel, and e-sports

During Tourism and Sport Days, the Poland Pavilion will become a space dedicated to active living, tourism, and modern sports. The program will include daily handicraft and e-sports workshops using the world of The Witcher video game as an interactive platform for showcasing Polish trails and landscapes. A dedicated LOT zone, styled like an airplane cabin, will feature culinary tastings, presentations of travel offers, and a promotional film about traveling in Poland.

September 18 – Warsaw Day at Expo

Three symbolic events are planned: Breakfast with Maria Skłodowska-Curie, Royal Afternoon Tea, and Dinner with Fryderyk Chopin, combining culinary experiences with iconic figures that define Warsaw’s identity.

A meeting for the travel industry aimed at presenting Poland’s tourism offerings and building partnerships with Japanese tour operators.

September 20 – Polish Sport Day

Olympic champion Anita Włodarczyk and members of the Polish Olympic team will visit the Poland Pavilion. The program includes meetings with Polish and Japanese female athletes at the Women’s Pavilion and a joint tribute to distinguished sports figures from both countries.

Sport for everyone

On September 20–21, the Pavilion will host tournaments and recreational activities – including yoga, ringo, and SENIORIADA, an initiative promoting physical activity at any age. On September 22, a wheelchair basketball tournament will take place in collaboration with the University School of Physical Education.

September 23 – Polish Sumo Day

The week will conclude with Polish Sumo Day, organized by the Polish Sumo Association and the International Sumo Federation, featuring performances by Japanese champions and Polish athletes.
