RGG – SUNDAY 2025/08/31, 17:00
RGG is one of the most important Polish jazz bands in the classical piano trio formula, and the last concert line-up of Polish jazz legend Tomasz Stańko. Their project Soundscapes of Chopin is far more than just another jazz interpretation of classical works – the musicians focus on reimagining the sound of Chopin’s compositions, translating familiar melodies and harmonic structures into a multi-layered, evocative sonic experience and transforming them through ambient textures and free-flowing improvisations. Steering clear of literal interpretations, they use jazz as a medium that bridges classical sensitivity with modern sound.
