From among the finalists, the Competition Committee consisting of members of the Expo 2020 Dubai Team and representatives of the Lodz University of Technology will select the winner, whose project will be implemented. The laureate can also count on the promotion of their work and creativity as part of the Expo 2020 Dubai communication program, coordinated by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency.
The aim of the competition, besides choosing the best design, is to increase students’ competences by engaging in project works as part of the unique, largest economic event in the world. – Our cooperation with the Lodz University of Technology and its students reflects the motto of the upcoming World Exhibition – „Connecting minds, we create the future”. This is another sign that as part of the Expo 2020 Dubai program, we engage young, talented students from Polish universities, after all, students will also be involved in staffing the Poland Pavilion. The design students’ works are also a confirmation of Polish creativity, which is at the center of our message during Expo. – says Adrian Malinowski, Commissioner General of the Polish Section Expo 2020 Dubai.
The competition is being carried out as part of the cooperation agreement on the program of Poland’s participation in the World Exhibition Expo 2020 Dubai concluded between the Polish Investment and Trade Agency and the Lodz University of Technology.
