Poland’s presence at the World Exhibition EXPO 2025 in Osaka is an excellent platform for promoting domestic technological innovation. For six months, it was the solutions from SEEDiA.city—a Polish Smart City leader—that were on the front line of contact with thousands of international visitors.
The urban furniture from SEEDiA, including two smart solar benches and an info-kiosk, were installed directly in front of the Poland Pavilion, becoming an unofficial center for rest and meetings. For half a year, they were constantly busy, offering visitors a place to relax, recharge their mobile devices, and check current event information at the Poland Pavilion.
The participation in the Exhibition is a crucial step for SEEDiA.city, represented on-site by co-founder Artur Racicki, towards expansion into Asian markets. Direct meetings with distributors and potential clients, which were the main objective, proved to be a valuable success.
SEEDiA.city took part in the GreenEvo – Green Technologies Accelerator mission, promoting Polish cleantech. Other innovative companies also participated in the mission (including Symbiona, Ekoinwentyka, Marbet Wil, WindTAK), showcasing Poland’s global potential in the energy, environment, and circular economy sectors.
The Exhibition also served as the backdrop for festive events, such as Poland’s National Day, preceded by the Polish-Japanese Investment Forum took place, along with spectacular performances: a concert by Jimek with the Japanese Amabile Philharmonic Orchestra, and the parade featuring the Border Guard Representative Orchestra, with participation of one of Poland’s presence informal ambassadors – astronaut Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski.
Thanks to the cooperation with the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) and the support of Ministry of Climate and Environment (GreenEvo mission), Polish innovations in Osaka are proving they are ready to conquer the world.
