The main goals of Poland’s presence at the EXPO in Dubai include the following:

  • economic promotion: strengthening economic relations between Poland and the UAE, which is the host of the Exhibition, as well as the entire region of the Middle East; in particular providing support to Polish entrepreneurs in their search for new sale markets and attempts to build durable commercial relations, as well as in scientific cooperation;
  • image building: shaping the image of Poland in areas related to the main theme of the Exhibition among new target groups as compared to the previous exhibitions.

The rich programme of Poland’s promotion at EXPO 2020 will be displayed primarily in a Pavilion due to be built on a plot with an area of 1,876 m2. The Pavilion will be the site of not only the exhibition, but also a broad range of accompanying events.

The Polish Pavilion is located in the central point of the exhibition devoted to mobility. Both the location – at the intersection of several main communication routes – and the interesting shape of the plot make it possible to prepare an attractive exhibition and thus catch the attention of a large number of visitors.

Apart from the permanent exhibition, the Pavilion will also house a temporary exhibition zone (used mainly for presenting Polish regions), conference room, children’s zone, stage for artistic events and a Polish restaurant serving bread baked on the spot and a wide range of cakes and other foods.

Poland’s presence at EXPO 2020 in Dubai will also involve numerous accompanying events organised in cooperation with central and local government institutions and other partners to Poland’s participation in the Exhibition.

The programme assumptions of Poland’s participation in EXPO are provided in the Programme Concept of Poland’s participation in EXPO 2020 in Dubai [a pdf document available for download at]
